The next steps

In line with my continuous plan to succeed after completing my course, I have begun considering additional steps I can take now to assist me on this journey.

Although I am already on LinkedIn and Behance, I want to join other design focussed websites to increase the chance of my work being seen. In the next year I want to explore Dribble, Skillshare, Coursera, CreativeLive, The Futur and 99U.

Along with showcasing my work, I also want to look at volunteering for non profit organisations and networking by joining AIGA, Design Observer, Women Who Design and TypeWolf.

Lastly I would like to use any spare time I have to begin freelancing, gaining work that will enhance my portfolio. I aim to explore freelancing through Upwork, Behance, Fiverr, Toptal, LinkedIn and The Dots.

I believe that any work and experience that I can gain right now will improve on my chances to becoming successful in the future.
